The Philosophy

Welcome to KC Physical Therapy. Here, you will experience a unique physical therapy approach specializing in functional movement and the kinetic chain. You will receive one-on-one time with Katty, a licensed physical therapist, throughout your entire visit and subsequent visits. She will evaluate your movement and curate a specialized program to fit your specific needs and goals. She is committed to providing you with a well rounded rehabilitation experience, whether you have a current injury, chronic pain or want to address injury prevention.

The Experience

Patients can anticipate a personalized one-on-one experience tailored to their specific needs and goals. Katty will guide patients through targeted exercises and hands-on techniques, fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing and optimal physical well-being.

Movement Exam

You will be taken through a comprehensive evaluation of your posture, range of motion, muscle strength, balance, and functional movements. This assessment aides in the creation of a personalized treatment plan designed to address impairments and specific goals.

Treatment

At each visit, expect a diverse range of targeted treatment methods to help alleviate specific musculoskeletal issues. Treatment may include joint mobilizations, soft tissue mobilization, cupping, graston, and more.

Corrective Exercises

Katty will then guide the patient through a series of corrective exercises specific to the results of their movement exam and personal goals. This program will adapt and progress throughout the course of treatment.
